Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal/state regulations (FCRA, GLB, CFPB)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for financial products
- Develop/update compliance policies and training programs
- Investigate regulatory violations and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with legal and operations teams on compliance initiatives
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Stay current on regulatory changes affecting financial services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years compliance/regulatory experience in financial services
- Knowledge of California financial regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in compliance software and MS Office Suite
- ACA/CFPB certification preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
