Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes to ensure organizational compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Investigate suspected violations of policies and recommend corrective actions.
- Train staff on compliance standards and regulatory updates.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFE, CFP, CPA, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, or industry-specific regulations).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
