Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA, state regulations).
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Develop, update, and implement compliance training programs for staff at all levels.
- Investigate internal complaints or allegations of policy violations.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulatory legislation and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related regulatory role.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification (e.g., CAM, CCEP, CFP) is a plus.
