Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze changes in local, state, and federal regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures to align with industry standards.
- Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and legal counsel to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on compliance-related matters and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or a related regulatory role.
- Professional certification such as CAMS, CFE, CPA, or CFE is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations (e.g., BSA/AML), SEC rules, or GDPR compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
