Responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and compliance monitoring systems.
- Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies on a timely basis.
- Train staff on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory updates to foster a culture of compliance.
- Investigate and resolve internal compliance concerns or potential violations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs role.
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulations, including KYC, AML, and SOX compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to business processes.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CFE) are highly preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
