Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk-based compliance programs aligned with federal regulations (SOX, FCPA) and industry standards
- Conduct internal audits and monitor regulatory changes to ensure policy adherence
- Lead cross-functional training sessions on compliance protocols and ethical practices
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions to senior leadership
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal team on contract reviews and regulatory filings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of compliance experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, or tech)
- Strong knowledge of California state and federal compliance frameworks
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS, CCRM) highly valued
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to communicate complex regulations to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with GRC software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
