Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory laws and standards to ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our processes.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that align with state and federal regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and any identified issues for senior management.
- Train staff on compliance requirements and best practices to foster a culture of integrity.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations or discrepancies efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Certification such as CFE, CPA, or CRCM preferred.
- Strong understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote-capable environment.
