Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and internal audits to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed compliance policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and proactively advise leadership on necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to governing bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality compliance training sessions to employees across all departments.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations or internal inquiries with discretion and speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory affairs role within the financial services sector.
- Strong working knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and state-specific securities regulations.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CAM, or compliance-specific credentials are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and financial data.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating complex requirements to non-technical staff.
