Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with industry regulations (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
- Develop/implement compliance policies and procedures
- Train staff on regulatory requirements
- Investigate violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare compliance reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with legal and executive teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years compliance/regulatory experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP, CCRM)
- Proficiency in compliance software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of CA and federal regulations
- Experience with risk management frameworks
