Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (FINRA, SEC, OCC) to update compliance policies
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across financial products
- Develop and implement AML/KYC procedures for digital asset transactions
- Train staff on compliance protocols and regulatory updates
- Manage compliance reporting for executive leadership and board of directors
- Collaborate with legal team on regulatory filings and examinations
- Lead incident response and remediation for compliance breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years compliance experience in fintech or financial services
- FINRA Series 24/26 or CCEP certification required
- Advanced knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations (Binance, Coinbase experience a plus)
- Proficiency with compliance software (Compliance.ai, MetricStream)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
