Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (SEC, FINRA, OCC) to update compliance policies
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across banking operations
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage AML/BSA monitoring systems and SAR reporting processes
- Collaborate with legal team on regulatory examinations and enforcement actions
- Lead remediation efforts for compliance gaps with actionable timelines
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for executive leadership and board
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years compliance experience in financial services or fintech
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or CAMS designation
- Expertise in Dodd-Frank Act, BSA/AML, and consumer protection laws
- Advanced proficiency in compliance software (e.g., NICE Actimize, ComplyAdvantage)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven approach to risk assessment
- Exceptional written/verbal communication with regulatory bodies
