Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance programs and internal controls
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits across all departments
- Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Train employees on compliance policies and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with legal and audit teams to address compliance gaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in financial services
- Strong knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and Texas state regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation preferred
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream, RSA Archer)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
