Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
- Assist with tax preparation and year-end reporting.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
