Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Assist the Controller with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Monitor financial performance by tracking variances against budgets and providing insights to management.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must be a Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or hold a CPA/CMA certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
