Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely collections.
- Assist with monthly and annual payroll processing to ensure timely distribution.
- Generate and analyze financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) for management review.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Ability to meet strict weekly payroll deadlines without errors.
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
