Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts accurately.
- Process payroll and ensure all deductions and tax withholdings are calculated correctly.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and financial audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines consistently.
