Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank accounts
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with CA labor regulations
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and maintain vendor relationships
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Proficient with MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and CA tax requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
