Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll and ensure all employees receive their weekly paychecks accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and maintain accurate billing records.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and budget preparation.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account status and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
