Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure tax filings are completed on time.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights on financial performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations (1099s, W-2s).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
