Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures with precision and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure complete data integrity.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring invoices are processed correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Process payroll accurately to guarantee timely and error-free weekly disbursements.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and functions).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
