Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and statements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines efficiently under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.
