Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and efficiently for multiple entities.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting entries as required.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP.
- Collaborate with external accountants during tax season and audits.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience is required.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
