Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements and monthly closing reports
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ clients
- Implement internal controls and audit support procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for data entry and financial analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- California payroll tax certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
