Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure all tax filings are completed correctly.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional, depending on client site visits).
