Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Process weekly payroll for multiple clients ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve account discrepancies.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
