Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and prepare detailed financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
