As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our clients, ensuring accuracy in every transaction, and providing top-tier financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledgers, financial statements, and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Process payroll and prepare payroll tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
