As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records with precision and ensuring our payroll is processed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll on a weekly basis for all employees accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and vendors.
- Assist with year-end financial reporting and tax preparation documentation.
- Organize and file financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager with budget analysis and variance reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
