Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process weekly payroll for multiple employees with strict attention to tax and deduction accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparations and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track expenses and manage invoices.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
