Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Process and verify payroll to guarantee timely weekly payouts.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journals, and financial reports.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and external audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts monthly.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle high-volume transaction volume.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor/client interaction.
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Gusto, etc.) is a significant plus.
