Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements weekly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to payment deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings in compliance with Washington state regulations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial transactions
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for all accounting operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a US-based company
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and Washington state tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
