Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts for the weekend closing period.
- Accounts Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and within deadlines.
- Reporting: Prepare and post monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- General Ledger: Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure all entries are properly classified.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll updates and ensuring tax filings are current.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) as required.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
