Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Transactions: Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices and payments are recorded timely.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are identified and resolved immediately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll for select clients during the weekend shift, ensuring tax compliance and accurate deductions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to federal and state tax regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a major plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure 100% accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday to Sunday) as per our business schedule.
