Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
- Process payroll accurately for multiple clients.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger using QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation documents and filing organization.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Must be available to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
