Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable: Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time for the weekend cycle.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll adjustments and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Tax Preparation Assistance: Gather necessary documentation and assist external auditors or tax preparers during peak seasons.
- Expense Management: Review and code expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling financial data.
- Availability: Must be available to work Weekend Shifts (e.g., Saturday/Sunday) or Monday/Tuesday as required.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (Bachelor’s degree a plus).
