Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process weekend payroll and expense reports
- Prepare bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with VAT returns and HMRC compliance
- Generate financial statements for client review
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with weekday team on financial workflows
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 2 years)
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- UK GAAP and HMRC regulations knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms
- Strong communication and time-management skills
