Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records using QuickBooks and Xero platforms
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage VAT submissions and HMRC compliance
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and audits
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Train junior staff on weekend accounting protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UK-based bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 3 certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
