Responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and bank statements
- Process payroll and expense reports accurately
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Maintain digital filing systems with audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Implement Xero/QuickBooks best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance (TX)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun, 8am-5pm)
