As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial data, managing accounts, and providing essential support for our monthly and annual reporting cycles.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate.
- Process payroll for all employees in strict compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax documents.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track expenses and update ledgers.
- Provide support to the senior finance team during the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
