Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and issue invoices, and process payments in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and budget analysis.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial records are up to date.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with US tax regulations is preferred.
