Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and generate monthly financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and returns.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports for accuracy.
- Provide financial reporting and support to management and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
