- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero; strong Excel skills required.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
