Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss reports.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and financial audits.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Desktop, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP, Gusto, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
