Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and financial statements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
