Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and recorded promptly.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
- Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date records and assist with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to clarify financial inquiries and provide insightful financial summaries.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (AIPB, NACPB) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
