Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the accounting department including data entry and filing.
- Perform basic bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Support accounts payable by processing invoices and preparing checks.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and following up on payments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and spreadsheets.
- Prepare basic financial reports for review by management.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
