Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with high self-discipline.
- Valid US work authorization.
