Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
