Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and approve invoices for payment according to company policies.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and basic financial statements.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and track business expenses to ensure compliance with budgets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets) and Word.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
