Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records match bank statements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and journals for management review.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the processing of payroll, verifying hours and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents.
- Compliance: Ensure all bookkeeping activities adhere to GAAP standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; high school diploma with relevant experience is acceptable.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
